This was the first AFP movie, despite the company not being named until later.

The film went through many different iterations before script-writing started, originally being called Five Nights at Rabbi Dan's , then transitioning into Two Nights at Sci-Tech, and then finally becoming Two Tuesdays at Finn's.

The original FNARD concept is largely unknown and forgotten, but it seemingly revolved around evil robots led by Rabbi Dan.

Alan, the security guard, is not named on screen until the second movie, despite his name being in the original script.
